We have a standing seam metal roof with a fluoropolymer coating. We are obligated to keep it clean following the manufacturer’s explicit directions in order to maintain our warranty. Elite roofing, the installer, recommended Gentle Renew. The spring and summer of last year, 2023, we had a particularly bad pollen coating. I think it was caused by early hot and dry weather and heavier than usual pollen. Gentle Renew Made numerous attempts to gently clean the roof. They even bought specialized equipment. Nonetheless, they succeeded without increasing their original quoted fee and without making any excuses. This year was much lighter pollen and lots more rain. Accordingly, we did not experience last year’s build-up. We couldn’t be happier with the service, commitment and attitude of Gentle renew. We will certainly call them back when another bad year occurs!
