We attempted to use this business, he signed on to do our work but there was always an excuse. Some of the excuses were parts didn't match, couldn't get parts, couldn't get our warranty company to respond, etc. We went without heat off and in from Christmas through mid February. Whenever it got really cold outside the furnace quit. Gene knew we were without heat in the middle of the winter in SD but did not make it a priority to fix our furnace. He took our copay, cashed it and stopped answering our calls. Do not trust this guy!
DO NOT USE THIS MAN! I should've believed the other bad reviews that I read but gave him the benefit of the doubt because that's how I roll. He'll come to your house, put on a good show, pretend to order the parts and promise to be back. Unfortunately, I wrote him a check for $130 that he immediately cashed. Bad on me. I texted him several times to get updates and would get the "Busy, but I'll get right back to you" but he never does. Please believe me to use someone else. Would give him less than 1 start if it were possible.
I actually didn’t choose him. My home warranty did. Have not gotten the diagnostic to determine what home warranty will do with my fridge. Been out of a fridge for 2 weeks. At first he was responsive and after a few texts he stopped and would not respond at all. But he was quick to cash his service call check and not follow up on sending in diagnostics. Was a nice guy at the house. That’s all you are going to get. I’m surprised he still gets business with all the similar issues I have seen like mine. I’d give him no stars If I could. If you are paying for service without home warranty I’d advise to go somewhere else. You will probably get swindled like everyone else that he has done this to.
