Fort Ransom State Park Reviews
We were there midJuly for 3 nights. The park is quite remote( 45 minutes from the closest shop with basics). We stayed at the "primitive camp." Very green with lots of short trails. The Sheyenne river water was a milky brown color. Lots of birds and chimpmunks. Too many flies and quite muddy the day after it rained. Area is kept very clean and the park ranger does the rounds frequently. Firewood is available for purchase at $7 per bundle(4-5 small logs). Restrooms had no trashcan.
Stayed in a yurt. Full equipt with everything needed (bring your own linens-everything else was supplied). Great trails, history and visitor center
