Well kept grounds, hot showers, great staff. We stayed for 4 nights. This campground is close to lots of things fun. We used it as base camp for trips to Canada, Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Mackinac Island(discount tickets at the office with free shuttle to the ferry). We enjoyed our stay!
We stayed in Deluxe Cabin 5. It was well stocked and very clean. It was newer and definitely one of the nicer cabins we’ve stayed in at KOA’s. The shower had plenty of hot water for our entire family. It included a beautiful shaded deck area complete with fire pit and grill. The one heating/cooling unit is in the living area next to the smaller bedroom. The main bedroom with the queen bed didn’t get very cool being so far away from the A/C unit. The futon in the living area was nicer than I expected and provided a great place to sleep for the ones who like the cooler temps to sleep at night. This cabin was close to the playgrounds, jumping pillow, and mini golf.
