GFL Environmental Reviews

jessica huyck ★★★★★

They are rarely ever on time. They have great people who work for them but as a whole gfl is the absolute worst trash service out there in the most overpriced. Too bad they have monopolized and we don't have a choice.

Erika Lynch ★★★★★

I am so disappointed in this trash company. During our pick up days it is never consistent with a time. Also the spillage that occurs from the truck when they are driving through our subdivision makes the whole subdivision stink! You can even go for walks or ride your bike because the smell is so awful. We want little traverse disposal back. 🤢

Nathan Morrow ★★★★★

Customer service is horrible. Missed our pick up, Sally in the office customer service skills are horrible. Still waiting for the manager Chris to call. This companies main office is in North Carolina. GFL purchased little traverse disposal which was local and serviced our home for quite some time. GFL took ownership and every number I called for customer service was horrible with no help. Elmira, Cheboygan and even the southern Michigan number. No help. Sally said the driver couldn't find our house. If trash is not picked up tomorrow like Sally said it will be. STAY TUNED!

Recommendations before choosing a Pressure Washing Service

Follow these 5 essential guidelines to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality exterior cleaning service:

1
Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews:

Look for pressure washing companies with positive Google, Yelp, and Facebook reviews. Real customer feedback will help you identify reliable and professional contractors.

2
Confirm what services are included:

Make sure you understand exactly what is covered in the price, such as house washing, driveway cleaning, roof soft washing, deck or fence cleaning, and whether detergents are included.

3
Ask about equipment and cleaning methods:

Verify if the company uses professional-grade equipment and appropriate techniques like soft washing for delicate surfaces to avoid property damage.

4
Verify licensing, insurance, and certifications:

Ensure the contractor is properly licensed to operate in the USA, carries general liability insurance, and follows local regulations to protect your property.

5
Request a written estimate and service agreement:

Always ask for a detailed written quote outlining pricing, scope of work, turnaround time, and any guarantees before hiring.
