Kenai Wash & Dry Reviews

Rochelle “wanderlust.or.bust” Duplessis ★★★★★

The place looked nice and clean. Hours online state business closes at 9pm. When I walked in I was told which machines and which side were available. When I selected machine I was told, "You have to get started by 7:15 or I can't let you wash." I picked up my basket and walked out saying I only have one load and would come back tomorrow. I was followed out the door! She said something that ended with, "I just want to make sure you understood." Insulted I stated I understood, but have a choice, I can rush or do my laundry another time. She said something again! Putting my laundry in the van, I reiterated I was making a choice, got in and drove away. I left her saying something. Honestly, there was more than enough time to do my laundry in less than 90 minutes. I've never heard of a last wash nearly two hours before closing! I don't live here and wash all over the country in my travels. I am visiting Kenai for three days. I'll wash in Girdwood on my way up Seward where tone matters.

Rather disappointed in this business lately. There have been multiple times that I have arrived in the morning, during business hours, only to find that they were not open yet, sometimes waiting up to 45 minutes for an employee to arrive. They also raised the prices on the machines. I loaded my laundry and added my detergent, using 4 machines, only to find that the new coin depositors were all disfunctional, so I had to shuffle around 4 loads of laundry all covered in soap until I was able to find a combination of machines actually working. I was then approached by an employee who told me I was not allowed to carry a firearm in their building, pointing out a barely 4 inch sign on their door. Now, yes, I understand each business has a right to make their own rules regarding that, and I could understand having a sign posted to cover their butts to refuse service to those handling their firearms irresponsibly, but to approach each customer responsibly carrying a holstered weapon is probably not a great business move here in the freedom state of Alaska. I've not come across a single other business on the peninsula, or the state, for that matter, that does not allow you to carry a holstered firearm(other than gov. buildings, of course) Todays visit has really put me off and I cant say I'll be supporting this business any longer.

Variety of sizes of washers and dryers so there are some for your blankets and dog beds, there are also showers. It a good, well kept laundromat.

Recommendations before choosing a Pressure Washing Service

Follow these 5 essential guidelines to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality exterior cleaning service:

1
Check the company’s reputation and customer reviews:

Look for pressure washing companies with positive Google, Yelp, and Facebook reviews. Real customer feedback will help you identify reliable and professional contractors.

2
Confirm what services are included:

Make sure you understand exactly what is covered in the price, such as house washing, driveway cleaning, roof soft washing, deck or fence cleaning, and whether detergents are included.

3
Ask about equipment and cleaning methods:

Verify if the company uses professional-grade equipment and appropriate techniques like soft washing for delicate surfaces to avoid property damage.

4
Verify licensing, insurance, and certifications:

Ensure the contractor is properly licensed to operate in the USA, carries general liability insurance, and follows local regulations to protect your property.

5
Request a written estimate and service agreement:

Always ask for a detailed written quote outlining pricing, scope of work, turnaround time, and any guarantees before hiring.
