My 80 year old Dad showed up to his house in Durango for the first time this winter to find he couldn’t get anywhere near the house. He reached out to me (in California) after a couple days informing me he had gone there to find he had no water and other concerns going on and had to walk the 1000 yards across the river and up a steep driveway to the house because of the snow. I was in a mad scramble trying to figure out how to get him help ASAP. Andrew answered my prayers and showed up with his snow plow and cleared the road, put chains on his truck and supported him with a couple other things. When my Dad called me after meeting Andrew, there was such relief and joy in his voice. He felt safe and taken care of and was so grateful for Andrew. He felt he couldn’t tell me enough how nice Andrew was and how much he liked him! Thank you Andrew for helping me out so last minute and helping my Dad (and I) feel ‘looked after.’ He said he took your card so I’m sure you’ll hear from him again 😉😅
In the fall I confirmed with Andrew that he would plow our driveways this winter as he did the year before. First big snow in December and he didn't show up. I emailed and left several messages over the next week and never heard back. Very disappointed.
